Curating spaces with art, florals & revived antiques
Kaya & Ko was born from a desire to bring together my greatest passions: creativity, art and floristry. Every arrangement I create is inspired by a love of making beautiful, meaningful pieces that bring joy to others.
My purpose came to light after visiting a local nursery school in Cape Town that completely stole my heart. After seeing the joy, resilience and potential of the children it inspired me to use my business as a force for good. That’s why 5% of all profits are donated to help keep the school running and to provide essential resources that support the children’s wellbeing and education.
When you choose my creations, you’re not only supporting a small creative business- you’re also helping to create opportunities and brighter futures for an incredible community.
About Brogan
With over 10 years of experience in the world of homeware styling and interiors, I’ve always loved creating beautiful spaces. But over time, I found myself craving something beyond the office — a space where I could create freely, without limits, and bring all the things I love to the forefront.
Art, textiles and travel have always been a huge source of inspiration, intertwined with my background in floristry and my love of discovering antique treasures, vintage finds and quirky little steals.
There has always been so much floating around in my head — ideas, colours, textures and stories — all bursting to be turned into something tangible. I dreamed of creating a world where all these different influences could come together, overlap and create a little bit of magic.
After years of gathering inspiration, travelling, experimenting and learning from some wonderful mentors, Kaya & Ko is my way of finally bringing that vision to life and giving it a go for myself.
A place where my love of interiors, art, textiles, florals and found treasures can all collide — creating pieces that feel unexpected, soulful and full of character.
